Come One, Come All, to a fantastic FREE Dinner.
Don't miss this social event of the season where everyone in attendance will be wanting to talk all about their trials an tribulations of the past boating season as we get ready to think about hauling out and signing up for another boating course.
The speaker for the evening will be Emily A. Murphy, Ph.D.
Park Ranger (Historian) at the Salem Maritime National Historic Site
Topic: Revolutionary Naval Activity of Massachusetts
During the American Revolution there was as much action going on at sea as there was on land. Privateers, the Massachusetts Navy, "Washington's Navy," and the Continental Navy were all plying the seas off the coast of New England. Join Salem Maritime National Historic Site's historian, Emily Murphy, as she explores some of the Revolutionary naval activity of Massachusetts, and introduce you to the politicians, generals, and captains who challenged one of the most powerful navies in the world.
So as the guy on TV says "Come on Down!" to the Jubilee Yacht club and instead of watching a another realty show on TV participate in the real thing and live a little bit of shore-side boating.
By the way, any desert donations will be appreciated.
